The
production of 'The Three Kingdoms - Resurrection Of The Dragon
三國之見龍卸甲' has taken a really long time, almost three
years from the very first inception stage, and it has been my biggest
soundtrack production yet to date. Orchestra was recorded in Czech Republic
conducted by my friend Petr Pololanik, Chinese instruments recorded in Beijing
China by some of the most talented young musicians I have met, taiko
performance recorded in USA. But I am really pleased with the result. Of
course most important of all, the director and the producer is pleased with
the result. The
critics like it too and that's not a bad thing :-)
It is worth mentioning that the movie 'Storm Rider - Clash Of The Evils
風雲決' is an animation based on a very famous Hong Kong comic book. It is
a 2D and 3D animation produced in China, post-production in Hong Kong. The
amount of music demanded is huge because with animation movie, a lot of
emotion really depends on the music and the music has to follow the mood of
the characters very closely. Again for the orchestra I turned to Petr's
Capallen Orchestra in Czech, another amazing job.
