GIBSON LES PAUL CUSTOM

A classic. Thai's all I can say. But I just sold it. This LP was sold to the guitarist Derek with the band AIR TUB, a new rock band I am producing.

I traded in for a greeaat handmade Maton 12 string.

CUSTOM BUILT TELECASTER

This is a telecaster assembled by Gary Brawer of Ransom guitar in San Francisco. All rosewood neck, quilted maple top and I think is mahogany body. Duncan lead pickup. One tone.

This guitar I used it to remind me of my stupidity when I traded in my Ibanez George Benson GB-20 for this guitar. Don't say a word.

RICKENBACKER

This 12 string is 3 quarter size solid body. I've always like the 12 string twang of Beatle's guitars. This is perfect for that sound. But stringing is hell on this guitar because of the small headstock. And it is also inbalance, head heavy as expected. But the neck is perfectly straight because of Ricky's double truss rod system. But again adds weight to the neck. I guess it's a double edge sword thing...

GIBSON EXPLORER

This is a '76 explorer. Mahogany neck and body, I love the shape of explorer. This one rocks. I got it from ebay. It's pretty battered: cigarette burn on the headstock, back scratched by buckle, and the case, I can tell it's been to a lot of places. But who cares, I like 2nd hand guitars because there's always a story behind it. And they sound good. That's the bottom line.
